Check out my latest shoot with Zipcar! I had the pleasure of working with an amazing crew on this playful, free and youthful shoot. Photographer Josh Campbell captured "The Freedom to Be You" theme of this shoot with energetic angles, sharp lighting and authentic moments between the models. With Rina Patsiokostas on wardrobe, the models were hip and effortless.
When doing makeup for Zipcar, I always keep the makeup light and bright with a sense of ease that matches back to Zipcar's values as a brand.
The models on the shoot were so much fun to work with. Spanning all different skin tones and features, it's a fun challenge to enhance all the models natural beauty/handsomeness. I used soft, youthful hues on this shoot from my makeup line.

It's always so much fun to do editorial bridal shoots with Boston Magazine! Because I do so many real life brides, these shoots allow me to see new dress inspriation and hone that bridal glow. Brides are photographed more on their wedding day than any other day of their life, so working behind the scenes with photographers allows me to see EXACTLY how my makeup photographs. I want my brides and any models I work with the feel their absolute best whether it's on set or walking down the aisle.
I had the pleasure of working with The Improper Bostonian on their fall set, a 70's inspired shoot with maxi dresses and thigh high slits galore. Rusts, luxurius metallics and big hair were the stylists picks so I went with a bold red lip, highlighted cheekbones, natural eye shadows and a bold cat eye liner look for the makeup on the gorgeous model.

I was honored to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement from the Look Good Feel Better program for my volunteer work. Look Good Feel Better is a program dedicated to imporving the self-esteem and quailty of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer.
I am proud to donate my makeup services to give these strong women support, confidence and courage as they battle cancer.

Last week I had the pleasure of working with model Monike at Icon Salon in Newton Centre for their Pure Allure shoot. The stylists were going for a subtle smokey beauty that still retained Monike's natural youthful glow.
I went for smokey yet slightly warmer hues on Monike's eye, a peach blush to emphasize her cheekbones and a soft mauve gloss for her lips so the focus could remain on her gorgeous blue eyes.
But she really needs no makeup at all. #NaturalBeauty

The past week, I have been busy on sets of photo shoots and with various vising celebrities in the Boston area. I've been working with comedian/actor/writer Nick Kroll for movie promo of Adult Beginners, in theaters now. He's a delight!

Yesterday I was on set for the Sharktank photo shoot with Wicked Good Cupcakes and Mr. Wonderful himself, Kevin O'Leary.
I did soft makeup on the girls with an emphasis on their eyes and beautiful lashes. For Danielle and Tracey's hair, I created natural, textural waves with a good amount of body. Kevin arrived already pulled together and just needed a bit of powder to be camera ready.

Working with Teresa Palmer again was great but this time it was a bonus because I had the pleasure of meeting the cutest member in her family... no, not Mark Webber, but her son, Bodhi. He was so excited to check out the Boston Commons playground and especially the Frog Pond area while his mom and I got to work. Here’s a few behind the scenes of us on set for the interviews with Teresa and Benjamin Walker. It was clear that they both had great chemistry on and off the screen which makes the movie that much better. Bring some tissues…You might need them!
